WELCOME TO MUBERS

Who we are and what we do
I started this service with my son as a way to make some extra money and to help people in need. We're based in Dallas TX, more specifically Garland. The idea was to provide the truck or truck with a (small) trailer and the customer would load/unload while still having our full-time jobs. Since we've been doing this, it has changed to a combination of we help you or do the loading/unloading. Whichever way the move is done will affect pricing.
Booking fee
We require a non-refundable $20 deposit due to the many cancellations we have previously encountered. If we don't get a deposit, we're not booked. This deposit will go towards the total cost of the move. If for whatever we decide not to do the move, then your deposit will be refunded.
Free estimates
To provide an accurate estimate, accurate information about what's being moved needs to be provided. If the information provided is inaccurate or there are changes to what's being requested, we reserve the right to cancel the move or change the initial estimate. Our minimum for any job and one person is $60 for just the truck and $75 for the truck and trailer. Here is one reference I looked up that basically says $60 an hour is the minimum for movers (moveBuddha). The following details are needed to help us make an accurate estimate:
-
Will you be doing the loading/unloading, need help loading/unloading, or need us to do the loading/unloading
-
A list of all items being moved (pictures would be appreciated)
-
From location and destination location
-
If any location is higher than the first floor (are there stairs involved)
-
If you are purchasing the item from another party, will you be there at the time of pickup
-
If an appliance is being moved, will it need to be connected/disconnected
-
If furniture is being moved, like a bed, will it need to be disassembled/assembled
If a dresser is being moved or anything with drawers, the drawers need to be emptied or removed. It may not add much weight however every bit of weight makes a difference after doing it multiple times.
Naturally, the more information the customer can provide, the better it will be for us to estimate and plan the move.
We will also need a date and time so that we can manage all customers promptly.
I appreciate your consideration.
Rick Kalifa.
